Featured Quilter
Art Quilter Lisa Curnutt will discuss her design process and the inspiration for her designs while she shares her stunning art quilts. Lisa created her first quilt 27 years ago. She started with an Eleanor Burns Quilt-in-a-Day nine patch and although she didn’t finish in one day she did catch the quilting bug! Her earliest quilts were traditional in style and were quilted by hand.
Eventually Lisa grew more confident and began experimenting with original designs of her own. She loves most quilting techniques and now incorporates hand and machine applique, machine quilting and beading in her stunning quilts.
Lisa’s quilts have won several ribbons in Washington and Idaho. She has had two of her quilts published in book and magazine form. You won’t want to miss her trunk show and talk.
Workshop fee covers lunch, classes and most materials. If students need special supplies for class, supply lists will be provided after registration.
